Chris is also a photographer, so I was really excited when he and Kalie chose me to shoot their wedding! They are both so friendly and easy to talk to, and Kalie’s a really good sport when the conversation dissolves into camera speak. They’re getting married at Elmwood Gardens, which is one of my favorite venues in East Texas and I can’t wait to share that day with them!
Wow, it’s been forever since I’ve had time to blog! As many of you know, not only is it my busiest time of year…I also recently bought a house and moved and suffered a pretty terrible computer crash. Needless to say, getting new work on the blog has been a bit low on the list of priorities. Definitely below finding clean laundry and getting the computer off it’s death bed :) So it’s with not a little bit of excited that I present Kristin and Aaron’s beautiful Elmwood Gardens wedding. I could have blogged their whole wedding, because I loved it so well…but other couples need love too! So enjoy what’s here and look for more new work to follow…
This is one of those images you start thinking about blogging the minute it materializes on your camera’s LCD screen! Alas, being a bridal image it had to be saved until the beautiful Robin had picked up a new last name and headed for Hawaii. This is how I like to do bridal. You can be traditional in a few frames, but leave the rest for rock star :)
Also, a HUGE thank you to Barbara at La Tee Da for loaning me these crystal strands! And for not killing me for keeping them for awhile!!!
This is one of my favorite engagement sessions ever! Honestly, it would be hard to go wrong: she’s gorgeous, he’s tall, dark and handsome…AND…they have a cool truck!
Halfway through our session, the clouds and wind receded and revealed this incredible afternoon light! Casey and Brandon will be getting married at this same location, which happens to be her grandmother’s farm in Karnack. All together now..awwwww!
