Have I mentioned that I really love Teaberry Farms… Filled with treasures from abroad, it really is the most romantic place ever!
A little sneaky peeky from Brea and Brody’s wedding at The Savannah in Sulphur Springs. Luckily, we were able to get a first look in before the storms that would continue all evening settled in!
There are so many thing to love about this wedding! Namely, Rachel and Louis who are two of the most wonderful people I’ve met in my career and the fact that they really get what it means to be married. I’m a photographer, not a marriage counselor so I try to refrain from getting all preachy about marriage, but I can’t help but love it when a couple is way more focused on the actual marriage to come than the details of their wedding day. I’ve been married for 16 years and the details of my wedding day have helped me be a loving, graceful, mercy-hearted, fun-loving wife and mom exactly zero times.
I loved that their friends were all so warm and that their families had a wonderful time with each other. I love that the cake topper says “The Best is Yet to Come” instead of “Best Day Ever”. I love that R&L took time to pray together and reflect on how blessed they are to have each other and that they had a wedding that reflected their values and the needs of their families as well.
So nicely done guys. You are wonderful through and through and I am so honored to have met you and been trusted to document your wedding :) xo xo xo
